Try meditation. Breathing exercises. Work on getting yourself to relax. If you're stressed before going to sleep, you're increasing the likelihood you'll have another nightmare.

Then take melatonin. It won't fix why you can't sleep and will disturb your circadian rhythm with prolonged use. But it'll give you what you're asking for.
