Bruce,

I know we don’t really talk all that much. I know that I hit you with anger a lot of the time, but I know that it’s not really fair to do that. I guess I can’t help it sometimes ‘cause you remind me of my Bruce, from back home. I don’t know if you know the full story of how he fired me.

[There are a bunch of things crossed out, about half a page.]

Look. I just. I know you’re there to help. And I know you know a lot of my story. I want to get to know you and I’m not always the best at navigating that. But I know that I can come talk to you and that’s really fucking important.

I trust you. And that’s saying a lot.

I hope you don’t mind when I’m fucked up and yelling. But I like the way we’re going. And I hope we can keep going in this direction.

There has been an incident. Superboy was hurt, but he is being cared for by his family now and should recover without issue.

What happened?

Superboy tried to break into the tower and there had been kryptonite left out in the open.
I cleaned it up with all involved parties as best as I could so it shouldn't be an issue now but I thought you'd like to know.

Do you have any idea what's happening with Jason?
The younger one.

[ Clark has no idea how much Bruce doesn't want to talk about this. But recent events seems to have made it necessary. There is a small delay in response, but Clark does eventually get one. ]

Likely the effects of the Lazarus Pit. It's what brought him back to life.
